The Festival Strings Lucerne is particularly committed to promoting young talent.

Young musicians up to the age of 18 from the region are given the opportunity to spend a week taking lessons and performing in front of an audience in a final concert with members of the Festival Strings Lucerne.

Each year, the participants in the Talent Week form the Talent Strings, for whom concert performances are organised together with members of the Festival Strings Lucerne. To date, the Talent Strings have performed at the KKL Luzern, at other venues in the region and as part of town twinning concerts in Guebwiller in Alsace and Potsdam.

Particularly outstanding talents also have the opportunity to perform as soloists during the season, accompanied by the professionals of the Festival Strings Lucerne, or to participate in the concert series at the KKL Luzern as part of the professional orchestra.
